Whys and Ahas
Your life changes.
Your answers can change too.
Questions for the life you are living now
You do not need to know exactly what the problem is before you begin. These guided journals help you look at your relationships as you experience them today, notice the expectations that still shape your choices and put your own needs into words. Start with what matters to you: what you want to keep, what you might reconsider and what comes next.
Two ways to write
Each journal includes two English-language A4 PDFs with the same questions: a printable edition for writing by hand and a fillable edition for typing your answers. Love has 500 questions and 142 pages per edition; Marriage, Parents, Siblings and Baby each have 300 questions and 89 pages per edition. The Complete Collection includes all five journals in both formats: 10 PDFs and 1,700 questions. US Letter is not included. No physical book is shipped and printing costs are not included.
Four companion sheets in every PDF
Extra answer sheet gives you more writing space. After a conversation helps you return to what was said. One next step invites you to consider what you want to do. Returning to these pages lets you revisit your answers as life changes. These sheets are part of each journal.
Print, type and save
Print the pages you need on A4 paper at Actual size (100%). For double-sided printing, flip on the long edge. The interior can be printed in black and white. To type, open the fillable edition in an app that supports PDF form fields. Save a new copy, close it and reopen it to check your answers. Support varies between apps; keep entries within the visible fields and use an extra answer sheet when needed.
At your own pace
Start anywhere. A few words can be enough. Pause, skip a question or stop. Your answers can stay private; you do not have to share them, agree with anyone, forgive, reconcile or act on a thought immediately. For a journal you use together, each person can keep a separate copy and choose what to share.
Keep support in the picture
For adults aged 18 and over. The journals support personal reflection and optional conversation. They are not therapy, counselling, diagnosis, treatment or professional advice, and no particular outcome is promised. A prompt cannot establish another person’s motives or a single account of what happened. If writing feels overwhelming, stop and consider qualified support; reflection should not replace or delay care.
Before the Baby Arrives considers the personal and relationship side of becoming a parent. It is not a guide to medical care, birth or infant safety.
